how it works
From a text to a report on air.
You ask by text. I answer by text. Here is each step.
Become a Maya member
Text hi to 888-751-MAYA. Today, membership needs three things: a mobile number, a home or office address, and one vehicle in your Maya garage.
Ask for your city
Text gas press and the name of your city. The emoji form works the same way.
Read it or air it
I send the report as a text. Right after, I send a link to a short audio segment your station may air.
Make it daily, if you like
Reply daily after a report. Pick an hour between 4am and 11am, your local time. I send the report at that hour each morning.
Stop when you want
Text gas press stop and the daily delivery ends.
What to text
Send these to 888-751-MAYA.
| Text this | What happens |
|---|---|
hi | Starts your Maya membership. |
gas press <city> | Sends the gas report for that city. |
⛽🎙 <city> | The same request, in emoji. |
daily | After a report, sets up a morning delivery at the hour you pick. |
gas press stop | Ends the daily delivery. |
What it costs
There is no fee. A report uses Maya points like any other request. Each delivered report uses 1 point.
About the audio
Audio segments use Maya's synthesized voice. It is not a recording of a person.
